Abstract:
A dissolution type refrigerating apparatus which employs moderate heat of 100°C or lower, such as solar heat or waste heat, as a heat source and eliminates the necessity of transporting solute crystals and transporting a crystal slurry comprising solute crystals and a solution. The apparatus eliminates the problem that pipe lines between steps are clogged with solute crystals. The apparatus comprises: a solute storage tank in which a solute is dissolved in a solvent and the solution resulting from the dissolution is heated to vaporize the solvent and recrystallize the solute; a cold-takeout means which takes out, from the solute storage tank, the cold generated by solute dissolution in the solvent; a solute storage tank heater means which heats, with moderate heat of 100°C or lower, the solute storage tank in which the solute has dissolved in the solvent to thereby recrystallize the solute which has dissolved; an ejector which sucks a solvent vapor generating from the solute storage tank when the solute is recrystallized by the solute storage tank heater means; a solvent separator means which liquefies the solvent vapor to separate the solvent from an ejector-operating vapor, which operates the ejector; and a solvent supply means which resupplies the solvent separated by the solvent separator means to the solute storage tank.
