Abstract:
The invention aims at providing a medium binding device which can realize miniaturization and low price, without leading to increasing of the quantity of components or complication of a device. Wherein, a front end part of a tape (2) is held by a tape winding body (11) on an initial position, and the tape winding body (11) is revolved for a half cycle and is shifted in a manner of traversing a conveying mechanism of a paper money bundle to elongate the tape (2) in order to cover the conveying route of the paper money bundle; the front end of the paper money bundle conveyed by a conveyer belt (8, 9) is used for pushing and pressing the tape (2); after the surface of the back of the paper money bundle is covered by the tape (2), the tape winding body (11) is revolved for a half cycle again by the tape and is again shifted in a manner of traversing a conveying route of a paper money bundle; the paper money bundle is conveyed by the conveyer belt (8, 9) in a negative direction and thus winding the tape (2) on the paper money bundle and carrying out the binding.
