Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a breaker with two electric contacts, by providing a third tube with a flange with which a first terminal of a spring whose second terminal contacts with a shoulder contacts, and by causing the spring to be compressed when the breaker is in closed circuit condition. CONSTITUTION: A spring 53 is compressed in closed circuit condition, and current flows through a terminal 23, a cover 22, a block 25, tubes 24-27, tubes 51-50, a tube 31, a layer 43A, a block 42, and a second terminal. In the closed circuit condition, a driving rod 46 goes downward in the drawing to move a tube 30. The tube 50 which is pressed on by a gradually expanding spring 53 remains rest, and terminals 27, 51 remain contact. In this process, gas in a capacity part 41 is compressed by relational movement between a piston and a cylinder 40. When the spring completely expands, the tube 50 will moved with a movable device. Arc flies between the terminal 27 and the terminal 51. Then current flows through the arc, and the arc is flown away by compressed air which goes out through a nozzle 37.
