To provide a melamine foam molded body, in which strength is enhanced and brittleness is improved and both moisture resistance and thermal aging resistance are excellent, a method for producing the same and a cleaner having a washing part consisting of the melamine foam molded body.
The melamine foam molded body is produced by heating and compressing a melamine foam to thickness of 1/1.2-1/12 and performing plastic deformation. When the molded body sufficiently subjected to plastic deformation is allowed to stand at 23°C for 200 hours, the recovery ratio of a dimension becomes 40% or less. Such the molded body as this can be produced by heating and compressing the melamine foam at 210-350°C at least 3 minutes and performing plastic deformation. Further, the molded body can be produced by performing heating and compression at least 3 minutes in a range of temperature not exceeding 140°C and performing plastic deformation. Further, the molded body is available as a cleaner and dirt removing properties are more enhanced for such a mold that unevennesses are formed on the surface by heating and compression.
