PURPOSE: To obtain the subject material giving a molded material having high flexibility and excellent impact strength and resistance to insert crack by blending a melamine resin with a filler and further diglycidyl aniline.
CONSTITUTION: A melamine resin molding material composed of (A) a melamine resin (preferably an epoxy-modified melamine resin containing polyethylene glycol diglycidylether, etc.), (B) a filler (e.g. pulp or glass fiber) and (C) a hardener is further added with (D) glycidyl aniline of the formula. The content of the component D is preferably 0.5-5wt.% based on the total weight of the objective molding material. The molding material is obtained by, e.g. mixing solid components A and B, and the components C and D, and blending and dispersing the resultant mixed material in a ball mill, etc., then subjected to kneading and pelletizing, etc.
