Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric in which pore diameters are dense and uniform and which has a high specific surface area that a conventional nonwoven fabric has not had before by suppressing mutual fusion, entanglement and overlapping of fibers.SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric is composed of fibers of thermoplastic resin and has a pore diameter distribution satisfying the following formula (1) and the following formula (2): Dmax/Dave<2.00 ... formula (1), Dmax/Dmin<3.50 ...formula (2) {In the formula, Dmax: maximum pore diameter (μm), Dave: average pore diameter (μm), Dmin: minimum pore diameter (μm)}. The laminate nonwoven fabric is obtained by laminating the nonwoven fabric and a spun-bonded nonwoven fabric. The filter, the separator and the hygienic material include the laminate nonwoven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: None
