To provide a melt seal mounting structure and mounting method for panel grooves that both treat the ends of melt seals with no use of end caps.

Melt seals 11a and 11b have their ends installed from a bottom 4 of a groove 3 to a first vertical face 5. A heatproof film 12 and a pressure- sensitive adhesive tape 13 are then put over all the ends of the melt seals 11a and 11b against their terminal dislocation. This method dispenses with existent end caps and further features an appreciable appearance, easy work and cost- efficiency.
