Abstract:

To heat and melt miscellaneous solids in a furnace body, and tap the molten metal by the whole quantity or only a necessary quantity without tilting the furnace body.

This melting furnace is provided with the furnace body 2 provided with an input port 22 for miscellaneous solids for airtightly sealing and melting the miscellaneous solids, and a tapping device 100 provided out of the furnace 2 to airtightly connect thereto, which can make an opening motion for guiding and tapping the molten metal in the furnace body 2 and a closing motion for stopping the tapping. The molten metal in the furnace body 2 is tapped through the tapping device 100.
