This melting furnace is provided with the furnace body 1 laying up the biomass-formed materials A as bed fuel material B in the inner part 11 and erecting a cylindrical main shaft 2 for charging the raw material C at the center position of a ceiling wall part 12 in the furnace body 1 and further, arranging a plurality of cylindrical sub-shafts 3 for supplying the biomass-formed material on the ceiling wall part 12 centering the main shaft 2 and constituted so as to directly supply the biomass-formed materials A through the sub-shafts 3 into the melting zone in the furnace body 1.
