Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting tank capable of detecting clogging of a chute for supplying an object substance to the melting tank.SOLUTION: In a melting tank 1 for melting an object substance, the melting tank 1 includes a chute 5 for supplying the object substance, and a detector 15 disposed on the chute 5 and detecting the object substance in the chute 5, and the detector 15 is disposed in a detection region 10 recessed from a side part of the chute 5. When the clogging of the chute 5 occurs, the clogging can be detected by the detector 15. As the supply of the object substance from the chute 5 can be stopped, the clogging of the chute 5 can be detected in an initial stage. Accordingly, the clogging can be easily eliminated in a short time even when the clogging of the chute 5 occurs, and degradation of operation efficiency of the melting tank 1 can be prevented. As the detector 15 is disposed in the detection region 10 recessed from a side face of the chute 5, it does not disturb the supply of the object substance to the melting tank 1, and erroneous detection of the clogging can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
