CONSTITUTION: This member for electrostatic charge has a surface layer of an isocyanate crosslinked body of a fluoroolefin-vinyl ether copolymer contg. electric conductive powder of tin oxide having 106-1010Ω.cm volume resistivity. The tin oxide content of the surface layer is 50-70wt.%. This member can ensure satisfactory releasability to a toner, does not cause the deterioration of its electrostatic charge capacity due to the sticking of the toner, performs uniform electrostatic charge with no electrostatic charge spots and ensures stable electrostatic charge characteristics. Image defects are diminished, a leak due to pinholes can be reduced and stable potential characteristics and image characteristics are ensured especially at low temp. and humidity.
