Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for hot-dip metal bath in which a coating film is thin and which has excellent durability, wear resistance, resistance to the hot-dip metal and restrait of sticking an intermetallic compound in the bath, and its production method.
SOLUTION: In the apparatus for using the hot-dip metal coating treatment, a composite coated layer applying a sealing treatment with Cr oxide on a composite ceramics composed of SiO2-Cr2O3-Al2O3, is formed on the surrounding surface of this base material.
