To provide a carburetor which is attached without remarkably varying a structure to a carburetor main body, and avoid erroneous operation of an acceleration pump caused by pulsative motion of an engine.
An inner space of a carburetor main body 15 is divided into a constant pressure fuel chamber 25 and an atmospheric chamber 30 by means of a film 29. Fuel in the constant pressure fuel chamber 25 is supplied to an intake passage 16. In such a membrane type carburetor, the atmospheric pressure chamber is opened to atmosphere through a throttle 30b. An end wall of the carburetor main body 15 on the side of an outlet of the intake passage 16 is connected to a heat insulative pipe 64, across a passage wall plate 65 therebetween. An acceleration pump B is connected to an outer end of the passage wall plate 65. The plate 65 has a passage 67 connecting the intake passage 16 to a negative pressure operation chamber 73 of the acceleration pump B, and a passage 68 connecting a pump chamber 71 of the acceleration pump B to the atmospheric chamber 30.
