Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reliably prevent the spread-out of flood disasters when occurring, by further improving the sealing performance of a simple levee and maintaining good sealing performance over a long period when installing a water shielding screen body as the simple levee.SOLUTION: A screen type waterproof device includes a plurality of columns 5 to be erected on a ground 4 at predetermined spaces along a space between two regions 2, 3 disposed side by side in the horizontal direction, a water shielding screen body 13 extending along the space between the two regions 2, 3 in the horizontal direction to part the two regions 2, 3 from each other, and connectors 14, 15 for connecting the water shielding screen body 13 to the columns 5. The water shielding screen body 13 prevents the flow of water 16 from one region 2 out of the two regions 2, 3 into the other region 3. When the water 16 from one region 2 gives water pressure to the water shielding screen body 13, the water pressure presses the lower end of the water shielding screen body 13 against a vertical wall 19 formed on the side of the ground 4 in the other region 3.
