To provide a memory card connecting device capable of suppressing breakage of a connecting part between a housing and a door body.
The memory card connecting device includes: a housing 1 having a connecting recess 11 in which a slot 10 for inserting a memory card MC is opened at a bottom face; and a door body 2 rotatably mounted on the housing 1 and opening/closing the connecting recess 11. The housing 1 has a cylindrical bearing portion 12 provided with a notch at a part in the peripheral direction, and the door body 2 is adapted to rotate with respect to the housing 1 when a columnar shaft 22 provided at the door body 2 is fitted in the bearing portion 12 through the notch. When the door body 2 continuously receives a force in the direction of opening the door body 2, the direction of the force acting on the shaft 22 is opposite to the direction that the shaft 22 is fitted in the bearing portion 12. This configuration can suppress the breakage because the door body 2 is detached from the housing 1 before the shaft 22 and the bearing portion 12, or connecting parts, are broken.
