Abstract:

To provide a memory card which can prevent the occurrence of a defective due to resin leakage to electrode terminals and whose cost can also be reduced.

This memory card comprises a substrate with a mounted component 2 such as a semiconductor memory mounted, a first housing 12 for protecting a substrate main body part and a second housing 14 for protecting a substrate terminal part on which electrode terminals 5 are provided. The first housing is made of a thermosetting resin and the second housing 14 is made of a thermoplastic resin. Also, the first housing 12 is formed by resin sealing and the second housing 14 is formed by fitting molded parts. According to this constitution, a defective due to resin leakage to the surfaces of the electrode terminals 5 is prevented from occurring, and yield improvement can also be realized. A stopper part for resin leakage prevention, a protection film, etc., are not used to be able to reduce the cost.
