PURPOSE: To shorten the waiting time at the time of instruction of reproduction by promptly starting the read-out from the memory to reproduce audio output, moving image output, etc., as soon as the amount of data which corresponds to the meaningful minimum unit is exceeded.
CONSTITUTION: When the amount of data having been continuously written to a memory 4 exceeds C, the output of the judging circuit 73 becomes on so that the instruction to request generation of read-out address is continued from the read-out address generation instructing circuit 9a to the read-out address generation circuit 9. Namely the read-out of data from the memory 4 is started and continued. Thus, since read-out is started from the time when the amount of data reaches a threshold value C, reproduction of voice can be started more promptly compared with the conventional method.
