PURPOSE: To provide a menu display processor capable of easily forming a menu display program.

CONSTITUTION: The menu display processor is provided with a menu data forming processing part 3 for displaying data necessary for master and slave menues on an inputting display screen, inputting data based on the inputting display screen from a menu forming I/O device 1 and outputting the inputted result as master and slave menu tables. A menu data storage device 6 for storing the output of the processing part 3 is also provided to read out data from the master menu table stored in the device 6 correspondingly to a section code inputted from a data forming I/O device 5, outputs a master menu display image, extracts a slave menu specified by an item number selected out of the master menu from the slave menu table, form a screen display output, and at the time of specifying the item number displayed on the display screen, reads out and executes a common program corresponding to the specified item number by a menu display processing part 4.
