To provide a menu supporting system which enables a user, to know food short of stockage in the refrigerator at home for a desired menu at a place remote from the kitchen.
A cellphone 13 requires a network refrigerator 6 confirmation of food stock against a selected menu. A WEB server of the refrigerator 6 commands a food confirmation part to confirm food short of stackage for the menu. The food confirmation part then compares the data of food necessary for the menu with the data of current stockage of the refrigerator 6 to determine the necessary food for the selected menu and prepare data short of food. The WEB server prepares contents for a necessary food order screen based on the necessary food data and the necessary food data for transmission to the cellphone 13. The user subsequently makes an ordering request of the necessary food from the order screen displayed by the cellphone 13. The WEB server commands a food order part to order the necessary food to an order receiving server 10 of a grocery store.
