Abstract:
The mercaptoacylpiperazine carboxylic acid compounds which have the formula wherein R, R3 and R4 each is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is hydrogen, lower alkanoyl, benzoyl or m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 1, 2 or 3, the sum of m+n being equal to 1, 2 or 3 and salts thereof, are useful as hypotensive agents.
