The merchandise sample 11 is displayed in the throw in port 5, and when the merchandise sample 11 throw in and held between the sample holding member 9 is held so as to be rotated and positioned ahead, the throw in port 5 is opened making the throwing in of the merchandise A possible and the merchandise sample 11 is displayed ahead. Thus, the merchandise to be thrown in can be easily and surely confirmed even before and during merchandise throwing in, and the inconvenience due to the erroneous throwing in of the merchandise can be eliminated.
