Abstract:

To provide an excellent mercury removing system which can remove mercury from a flow containing a combustion exhaust gas.

The system 10 and a related method 100 are provided. This system 10 includes a filter arrangement 12 which removes a substance such as mercury etc. from a flow, if the flow passes through. In addition, the system 10 includes a sensor arrangement 84 which senses the mercury level of a flow downstream of the filter arrangement 12, and also gives a signal 88 indicating the detected mercury level. The system 10 includes an adjustable temperature control arrangement 90 which can change the temperature of the combustion exhaust gas finding its way into the filter arrangement 12 in response to a signal 88 indicating the detected mercury level.
