To provide a removal method and an apparatus for mercury in incineration ash containing mercury for effectively removing mercury even if waste contains mercury, and suited to collective treatment of incineration ash collected from a plurality of incinerators, and to provided a treatment apparatus for exhaust gas containing mercury.
The treatment apparatus of exhaust gas containing mercury is provided with: an ash drier 11 heating mercury-containing incineration ash to 100°C or more and vaporizing mercury into dried exhaust gas; a first exhaust gas treatment line treating exhaust gas containing the vaporized Hg; and a second exhaust gas treatment line treating exhaust gas from an ash melting furnace 13 melting ash containing Cl-based salt. In the second exhaust gas treatment line, a first bag filter 16 collecting solid particles containing Cl-based salt in exhaust gas after the secondary combustion is serially connected to a second bag filter 17 charged with slaked lime and activated carbon, and the first exhaust gas treatment line treating exhaust gas containing Hg is connected to a part between the first and second bag filters.
