To meet the needs for lightweight containers to be incorporated in a system for storage of articles.
Each container includes a first mesh material piece and at least another second mesh material piece. The first mesh piece is folded to form a bottom wall and first paired side walls. The second material piece forms second paired side walls. When both the pieces are joined to each other, each basket portion with an opening provided extendedly upward is formed. The basket portions thus formed further include runner portions 26a-g which are different rails connected to the basket portions, and by utilizing the runner portions, drawers 14a-d may optionally be formed. In the case where the containers are used together with a drawer system including frames 12, the runner portions are slidably received by a pair of frame runners. With this arrangement, the drawers can be moved between a storing position and an extending position with respect to the frames.
