To obtain the subject lightweight and inexpensive mesh sheet having welder adhesive property and excellent in pin loop strength, wear resistance, antifouling tendency and weatherability, comparable to polyvinyl chloride processed products in terms of physical properties, and having high commodity value.
This mesh sheet for construction work is obtained by the following process: sheath/core conjugate filament yarns each with the core/sheath weight ratio of (50:50) to (90:10) are woven/knitted, the resultant knitted fabric is immersed in a flame retardant solution and then heat-treated at a temperature between the melting point of the core and that of the sheath; wherein the conjugate filament yarn has a single filament fineness of 3.3-17 dtex, the number of filaments of ≥40, tenacity of ≥3.53 cN/dtex and elastic modulus of ≥60 cN/dtex, the core component consists of a copolyester and the sheath component consists of a polymer lower in melting point than the core component.
