Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize optimal waiting for communication by efficiently and selectively use a busy wait system and a suspend system in the case of waiting communication when data is transferred.
SOLUTION: Waiting time for communication based on a past record preset in a table is compared with a threshold and selection is performed as follows depending on the comparison result by a communication waiting system. (1) When the threshold is equal to or more than the waiting time for communication, the busy wait system is selected. (2) When the threshold is less than the waiting time for communication, the busy wait system is selected. Thus, the communication waiting system is dynamically changed and more proper waiting system is selected between the busy wait system and the suspend system during executing of an application program and waste of CPU resources to be required for a communication waiting processing is evaded as suppressing the lowering of communication performance.
