Abstract:
To provide a suitable catalyst for an ester exchange reaction of an organic carbonate and an aliphatic polyol for production of an aliphatic oligocarbonate polyol.
The process for production of the oligocarbonate polyol with a number average molecular weight of 500-5,000 g/mol by a reaction of an organic carbonate and an aliphatic polyol in the presence of a metal acetylacetonate based on a metal with an atomic number of 39, 57, 59-69 or 71 in the periodic table element (PTE).
