PURPOSE: To make compact a metal body detecting device by composing a receiving line of a conductor wire protected with an insulation coating, in a device for detecting the existence of metal body and the existing position by the use of a matrix sensor in which the detection range is arranged in a matrix form with a plurality of transmitting/receiving lines.
CONSTITUTION: A pachinko game machine 10 has a board face 11 on which pachinko balls roll and a surface glass body 16 covering the board face 11 and a metal body detector between both the board face 11 and the glass board 16. The metal body detector has a matrix sensor 20 having a detection range widened in the form of face and functions as a metal sensor and a signal processing system for driving the sensor 20 and detecting the existence and the position of the metal body. The matrix sensor 20 is provided with a plurality of transmitting/receiving lines 22, 26 in the orthogonal direction to a board, and as each signal line 22, 26 a pair of conducting wires, made of cupper wire subjected to insulation coating, constituting a parallel going and returning paths are used.
