PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal cap having a heat sensitive ink region containing a heat sensitive ink, which is excellent in both weather resistance and visibility.SOLUTION: A metal cap includes a metal base member, a heat sensitive ink region containing a heat sensitive ink, and a protective layer. The protective layer contains iron oxide pigment. A color difference ΔE when a fluorescent tube having luminous intensity of 1530 lux and a temperature is changed at a position 30 cm below the fluorescent tube is 25 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
