To provide a metal-carbon combined conductive slide material for improving the thermal resistance without impairing a conductivity, and inhibiting dimensions from increasing at high temperatures exceeding 200°C, and without containing lead.
The metal-carbon combined conductive slide material contains particles coated with silver or a silver compound. An average particle diameter of the particles coated with silver or the silver compound, preferably, exceeds 5 μm. The density of the particles is, preferably, that of copper or graphite or lower prior to the particles being coated with silver or the silver compound. From another point of view, the metal-carbon combined conductive slide material may have metal-graphite material, having surfaces and pores exposed to the ambient air and coated with silver or the silver compound.
