Abstract:
To provide a metal complex exhibiting excellent gas-adsorbing performance, gas-storing performance and gas-separating performance.
The metal complex comprises a dicarboxylic acid compound (I) represented by general formula (I), at least one metal ion selected from ions of metals belonging to group 2 and groups 7-12 of the periodic table and an organic ligand that has a tetracarboxydiimide skeleton and is capable of bidentately coordinating to the metal ion.
