Abstract:
To provide a metal complex having a high anion removal activity.
This metal complex includes a copper ion, a carbonate ion and an organic ligand capable of bidentately coordinating with the copper ion and expressed by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 to R5 are each H, alkyl which may have a substituent, or the like; and Rx is substituted methyl having 5-membered or 6-membered heterocyclic ring which may have a substituent containing at least one nitrogen atom), and the composition of the metal complex is expressed by formula (A) [wherein, L is an organic ligand capable of bidentate coordination]. As the organic ligand capable of bidentately coordinating, an imidazolyl group is preferable.
