Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex having excellent gas storage performance and gas separating performance.SOLUTION: The metal complex comprises a dicarboxylic acid compound (2-nitro telephthalate), ions of metals belonging to a group 2 and groups 7 to 12 in a periodic table, and an organic ligands represented by a formula (II) and capable of bidentately coordinating with the metal ions. In the formula, Rto Reach identically or differently are H, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a formyl group or others which may have substituents, or a halogen atom.
