Abstract:
To provide a phosphorescent metal complex emitting blue light and having durability at light emission.
The metal complex having a partial structure represented by formula (1) (wherein, ring is a 5-7-membered aromatic heterocycle having an S atom; ring is a 5-7-membered aromatic heterocycle having an N atom; L1 and L2 are each a divalent linking group which constitutes the ring and the ring respectively, and which may have a substituent; the substituents linked to L1 or the substituents linked to L2 may form a ring by bonding to each other, and may form a condensed ring with the ring and the ring ; and M1 is a metal atom) does not change the emission spectrum in a chloroform solution by the light irradiation of 3 min.
