Abstract:
To provide a metal complex excellent in stability and useful for redox reaction catalyst, etc.
The metal complex is represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 to R6 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R1 and R2, R2 and R3, R4 and R5 and/or R5 and R6 together may form a ring; Y1 and Y2 each independently represents =N-, -S-, -O- or the like; P1 and P2 each represents an atomic group necessary for forming a heterocyclic ring respectively together with Y1 and two carbon atoms adjacent to Y1, or Y2 and two carbon atoms adjacent to Y2, and P1 and P2 further together may form a ring, especially preferably a phenanthroline skeleton).
