Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a metal container lid which is free from partial breakings at a time of its mounting and in which a pilfer-proof sleeve is provided spreadingly to make a breaking smooth, by a method wherein a score formed in a hard-to-break bridging part is interrupted at a middle part, and a resistant part having a little decreased thickness is formed at two points, one at the middle part and the other at a rear end.
CONSTITUTION: A container lid 2 is made of aluminum alloy which is about 0.21 to 0.25mm thick and featured by pilfer proofness. A peripherally weakened line 10 extending in the peripheral direction is provided in a ring-shaped expanded part 8 at a lower part of a cylindrical skirt wall 6 which hangs down from a peripheral edge of a top wall 4, whereby a main part 12 of the skirt wall 6 and a pilfer-proof sleeve part 14 are defined. The peripherally weakened line 10 is provided with a plurality of slits 16 and 18 and, between these slits 16 and 18, an easily breaking bridging part 20 and a hard-to-break bridging part 22 are arranged. Further, in the hard-to-break bridging part 22, a first and a second score 40 and 42 are formed. And between these two scores 40 and 42, a resistant part 44 is arranged, and behind the score 42, another resistant part 46 is arranged. When a mouth part of a container is opened, the container lid 2 is rotated in a direction indicated by an arrow 24.
