Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a metal container which can transport and store any kind of liquid and a method for manufacturing the container in an economical and cost-advantageous manner.
CONSTITUTION: A jacket 11, a bottom part 12 and a lid are welded with one another to form the metal container, which is placed in a flat bottom pan 10. The pan 10 includes reinforcing grooves 20a, 20b, which form a space 23 on a bottom part of the pan 10. The pan 10 further has an external support rim 19 forming a hollow support collar and is fixed on a pallet frame 29.
