Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal corrosion inhibitor that has sufficient corrosion inhibitory and deodorant functions, and can be used for both an oily liquid medium and an aqueous liquid medium.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a metal corrosion inhibitor that is a reactant obtained by the reaction between zinc oxide (A) and N-acyl amino acid (B) in an organic solvent or without a solvent in the mass ratio of (A):(B)=1:5-1:20, or a reactant obtained by the reaction between an intermediate reactant (D) and zinc oxide (A) in an organic solvent or without a solvent in the mass ratio of (D):(A)=30:1-5:1, wherein the intermediate reactant (D) is obtained by the reaction between N-acyl amino acid (B) and alkanolamine (C) in the molar ratio of (B):(C)=3:1-1:3. The metal corrosion inhibitor may be added to a liquid medium (oily liquid medium or aqueous liquid medium) in contact with metal, and or may be applied a metal surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
