Title:
METAL WIRE/OPTICAL FIBER COMPOSITE CABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3691762
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal wire/optical fiber composite cable that can reduce local side pressure from the metal wire on the optical fiber core-wire due to bending of the cable and can reduce transmission loss of the optical fiber core- wire due to bending of the cable.
SOLUTION: The metal wire/optical fiber composite cable is constructed by arranging an optical fiber core-wire 11, which has applied a first covering 15 on the optical fiber 14, in the center, and by arranging plural metal wires 12 on the surroundings of the optical fiber cover-wire 11, and then by winding a mesh tape 13 made in mesh shape over the outer circumference of the plural metal wires 12 and bundling them.
