In a metal fitting comprising a plate-shaped metal fitting body 1 closely contacted with the furniture, a support sheath tube 2 fixed to the fitting body 1 and inserted into a hole of the furniture, and a pin-shaped support part for the support sheath tube 2, and demountably mounted to the furniture, both of a support part 3 and the support sheath tube 2 project from the fitting body 1 through the hole formed on the furniture body 1 from the visual surface of the fitting body 1. The support part 3 is provided with at least one male screw 20. The support sheath tube 2 comprises radially projecting two leaves 9, the leaves are closely contacted with the visual surface of the fitting body 1 in a state in which the fitting is fixed to the furniture, and the support part 3 has a head 10 pressing the leaves 9 in a state in which the fitting is fixed to the furniture. That is, the fitting body 1 is directly held to the furniture by the support sheath tube 2.
