Abstract:
To provide a metallic flexible tube in which the occurrence of damage such as cracking is suppressed even when used at a part involving comparatively large repeated displacement.SOLUTION: A metallic flexible tube 1 is composed of a metallic corrugated tube 2 and an elastic body layer 3. The metallic corrugated tube 2 has: a corrugated portion 21 having a plurality of projecting portions 211 and recessed portions 212 and is formed into a wave shape along an axial direction; and a cylindrical straight portion 22 connected to an end portion of the corrugated portion. The elastic body layer 3 is filled into and closely contacted with at least the recessed portions 212 of the metallic corrugated tube, and connected to wall portions 213 at both axial sides of the recessed portions 212. In the metallic flexible tube 1, the elastic body layer is filled into and connected to the recessed portions, so that expansion of the recessed portions is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
