PURPOSE: To enhance the peel strength of a metal foil and to improve the adhesiveness thereof.

CONSTITUTION: Two superimposed electrodeposited layers, i.e., the first layer adjacent to the one side surface of the metal foil comprising a dusty dendritic deposit comprising a major amt. of a first metal and the second layer comprising a metal flash uniformly deposited over the first layer are provided. The dusty property of the dendritic deposit in the first layer is suppressed and the peel strength of the foil is enhanced by the metal flash which is in the second layer and, therefore, this foil is applicable to a wide range of electronic applied articles, such as printed circuit boards and solid state switches.
