Abstract:
To provide a metal foreign matter detector with which it is possible to detect the metal foreign matter included in a test object which is filled in a packaging bag with a medicine, a cosmetic, food stuff, etc., while eliminating the influences of an external magnetic field, an electromagnetic wave and the disturbance of a magnetic field.SOLUTION: A test object 2 composed of a packaged substance filled in a package is detected for metal foreign matter therein by a sensor 3 composed of a sensor coil. A slide surface 20 of a sliding bed 5 is composed of a roller conveyer 23 at the top and a planar slide surface 22 at the bottom. The inclination angle of the sliding bed 5 is adjusted so that the test object 2 passes through the sensor 3 at a constant speed. Since the test object 2 sliding down the planar slide surface 22 is inspected at a constant speed without vibrating, the accuracy of inspection increases and the efficiency of inspection is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
