Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a stress from generating concentrically due to an outer force or an inner distortion by preventing the plane area of a metal insert from becoming enlarged for stopping its turn and increasing the thickness of a surrounding resin material sufficiently.
CONSTITUTION: This metal insert for insert molding is introduced into a resin molding and has a fastening face 4 which is fastened to another member like a nut. In addition, the metal insert has a recessed part 3 formed in the center of a circular outer peripheral surface, and also protrusions which jut out in the radial direction of a recessed part within the shadowed area of the fastening face 4.
