To provide a metal-made folded-paper crane type ornament which has a high strength, can be enlarged, has a unique metallic gloss which a folded paper does not possess to show excellent commodity sense when it is exhibited, and is easily manufactured.

A body part and wing parts of a folded-paper crane are modeled and processed by using a metal sheet to form the body part 1 with wings. Projecting pieces 2 are provided before and behind of this body part 1 with the wings. A neck part and a tail part of the folded-paper crane are modeled and processed by using the metal sheet, and covering inserting parts 5 capable of covering the projecting pieces 2 by inserting the projecting pieces 2 for insertion are provided on the lower part of the neck part 3 and the lower part of the tail part 4. The covering inserting part 5 of the neck part 3 is inserted to the projecting piece 2 for insertion at the front side of the body part 1 with the wings, and the covering inserting part 5 of the tail part 4 is inserted to the projecting piece 2 at the back side to form a folded-paper crane shape in which the front and back projecting pieces 2 for insertion are covered and hidden by the neck part 3 and the tail part 4.
