Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency while to save manpower of hot aluminum cutting work by assembling a pair of cutters in specific construction in the cutting device.
CONSTITUTION: In order to cut and remove the pouring gate under casting of aluminum wheel, a pair of cutters 1a, 1b are first opened to secure the wheel body 6 taken out from a mold between cutters through a holding tool. Air for cooling the edge is blown continuously or continually. Then drive sources 3a, 3b are operated to advance the cutters 1a, 1b thus to shear off the lump 7 at the pouring gate.
