Abstract:
To provide a metal material for an energizing member having good corrosion resistance and small contact resistance (that is, excellent conductivity), especially a metal material for an energizing member having a property that a passive film of stainless steel, titanium, a titanium alloy or the like is formed, especially a metal material for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell separator, a separator using it and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using the separator.
The metal material for the energizing member wherein an average interval of local summits on a surface of the metal material having the property that the passive film is formed is 0.3 micrometer or less.
