Abstract:
To provide a metal material that can exert water-repellent property at the surface thereof while suppressing decrease in heat conductivity as compared to a meal to be a base metal, and to provide a heat exchanger and a method for manufacturing a metal material.SOLUTION: A metal material comprises aluminum or an aluminum alloy as a base metal 1 and includes a sacrificial corrosion protection layer 2 formed of a metal at an outside surface of the metal material and working as a sacrificial anode against passivated aluminum. The sacrificial corrosion protection layer 2 includes a water repellent layer 3 formed at an outermost surface of the sacrificial corrosion protection layer 2 and made of a metal oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
