By recovering a high-temperature gas of a heating furnace 10, storing the surplus waste heat in heat storage bodies by a heat storage type combustor 30, and conveying the surplus waste heat to a material input device 40, the strip-like or granular metal material inside the material input device can be preheated, thereafter the metal material is sent to the melting furnace 20 and is heated to perform the melting from solids to a liquid, and the molten liquid metal material is drawn by a circulation type molten metal pouring device 52 and is poured into a mold, so that a metal product can be produced. Thereby, a time for melting the metal material is greatly reduced, and the safety of the molten metal pouring is extremely high.
