A metal mortuary tablet cast by die casting, a process in which a metal is melted at a high temperature and poured into a mold under pressure. The metal mortuary tablet is manufactured, preferably using aluminum as a metal whose specific gravity is low, more preferably by an insert die casting method to hollow the interior of the tablet. The top plate portion and the pedestal portion of the metal mortuary tablet are formed separately and connected separably.
